Introducing The New Residency+ Program from Multiply Vineyard and Vineyard Institute

“I have been developing and running a residency program in our church for years now. Every year we have produced at least one church planter and many other great leaders from the program. I’m even more excited about the Residency+ program, as we are partnering with Vineyard Institute for an even more in-depth training experience for leaders in the Vineyard.”

Michael Gatlin
Coordinator of Multiply Vineyard
Pastor at the Duluth Vineyard Church in Duluth, MN

Senior pastors, are you dreaming of seeing your church multiply? Do you have young leaders who could be really effective if they just had some really good training? Well, we’ve got some great news for you! After many months of plotting and planning, we are finally ready to unveil a powerful new way for you to raise up well-equipped leaders and church planters in your church. Coming Fall 2015 we are launching the Multiply Vineyard Residency+ Program.

The Residency+ Program combines the global community and world-class instruction of Vineyard Institute with the locally-based pastoral-development curriculum that Michael Gatlin has developed for senior pastors to use in their churches.

This is one of the best things we have ever done at our church. Hands down. It is like a leadership engine for our church. We are trying to figure out how to include more students in Fall 2015.

Essentially, pastors, the Residency+ Program is a leadership development machine designed specifically for you. It is carefully planned to cover some of the major topics that young pastors and church planters will need to learn and grow, but at the same time, it’s flexible enough for each pastor to adapt it as you like to best fit your church and schedule.

The program has been very effective. Our residency has been more focused on leadership development for within our local church (only two of the 9 are planning to church plant), but it’s been excellent. They are all growing, getting more experience, etc. And I’ve also learned a ton about what I want to do different this coming Fall when I start the next residency program.

If you choose to run the program, you get:

  • Access to excellent technology and instruction in VI for your developing leaders.
  • A full year’s worth of leadership development curriculum for you and your students.
  • Additional training on how to be an effective educator from Multiply Vineyard via several webinars.
  • Four weekend intensive courses: Vision, Discover, Health, and Growth.
  • A cohort of well developed leaders at the end of the year who are ready to plant churches, oversee ministries, and lead in a variety of other ways in your church.

Intrigued? Want to know more, or find out how to get started? Find out more about the Residency+ Program  here!

And for those of you who are already thinking of launching your own Residency+ Program this September, why not offer one or two of the weekend workshops in your church over the summer? You can find   the intensives here. It’ll work like a preview for the program as a whole, and it will give you another way of recruiting and promoting the program to potential students.
