The Church Multiplication team is excited to offer this conference as a training opportunity for you and your staff pastors and leaders. The day is drawing nearer and we are ready to see all that God has for us at the 2014 Multisite Conference. We’ve gathered some of the best multisite leaders from within the Vineyard, Corey Garris and Jim Plank as well as an experienced multisite leader from COMMUNITY church, Dave Ferguson to share with you the ins and outs of becoming a multisite community. We’ve designed this conference to equip you and your leaders with the tools, resources and relationships needed to become a successful multisite church. We will be offering lots of practical tips and some time to work together as a team to develop vision and plans so you know how to move forward when you get back home.Michael Gatlin will also be at the conference and will be casting new vision about why our focus has widened and we are no longer just focusing on church planting, but church multiplication. He will be kicking off the conference by sharing how multisites fit into our new vision for extending the kingdom of God to new communities and neighborhoods. Dave Ferguson will be joining us via Skype and will be sharing about missional movements and how churches can use the multisite model to start missional movements in their communities. As one of the most successful multisite leaders in the US, Dave brings a unique approach to the typical mutlsite multiplication model.

Corey Garris and Jim Plank will each be leading a workshop track for attenders. Jim will focus on launching a new site and will include information about budgeting, technology, and staying united as a multisite church.
“I am excited to share some things that we have learned over the last five years. My hope is that the experiences we have had will help churches that are preparing to use, or are using the multisite model. We want to share the “nuts and bolts” of multisite church in an interactive way that will remove some of the uncertainty. The multisite model gives the opportunity to launch healthy DNA into new communities. We have seen so much fruit from launching new campuses-people have come to know Jesus and people are empowered to serve in new ways.”
Corey will focus on the campus pastor and will discuss the profile of a good campus pastor, building great teams and staying focused on what matters.
“So much of the fruitfulness of the multisite model revolves around the campus pastor and his/her role. Not only are they the “face with the place”, but how they carry out their role and embody their church’s DNA determines if their campus will really impact their local community. Choosing the right person for this role and helping them focus on the things that matter make all the difference.”

We’ve planned Q&A sessions for you to get your questions answered from experienced multisite pastors and leaders. You will also get to experience the Vineyard church of Central Illinois’s weekend service and then attend one of their many campuses on Sunday.

All of this information will be extremely beneficial to you and your church if you are considering going to a multisite model, already are a multisite or simply want more information on what a multisite church can look like. It’s not something you will want to miss! For more information and to register click here.
