As stated in section 3 of the Trademark Agreement, your church must carry Public Liability insurance.
This is the case if you are renting space, own your building or are meeting in a home.
The church should be insured in the amount of $500,000/$1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate or an adequate amount for the property of your church according to a certified professional.
The policy should be written by or through an "A" rated insurance company, and Vineyard USA listed as additionally insured.
Once you have obtained public liability insurance, email a copy of your certificate of coverage to [email protected].
Sometimes churches are denied coverage for a variety of reasons (number of attendees, smaller church, etc.). If this is true in your case, send a letter to Vineyard USA on church letterhead explaining why your church was denied coverage and from what companies you sought coverage.
