Dear Vineyard Pastor,
As you know, I believe that God is calling us, as senior leaders in our movement, to come alongside the young adults of the Vineyard. We must help them as they discern their calling and develop a passionate heart for Jesus and his Kingdom.
Jesus began his ministry as a young adult, and called other young adults to be his disciples. He did not overlook them or cast them aside because of their youth. Instead, he capitalized on their vibrancy and harnessed their boldness.
The young adults in our movement have the same tenacity and zeal as those original 12 disciples! I believe this generation can literally change the world – just as the disciples did 2,000 years ago.
I am going to be at CauseCon in April, along with dozens of other Vineyard leaders, to help support these young leaders in finding their place in God’s great Story.
It’s exciting to see so many groups within the Vineyard movement working together to make this conference happen – Multiply Vineyard, Vineyard Missions, Vineyard Resources, Vineyard Worship, Vineyard Justice Network, The Order of Sustainable Faith, the Women in Leadership Team, and many others.
They are all teaming up to help these young adults fully embrace who God has created them to be and what He is calling them to do.
As you consider which young leaders from your community God is asking you to invest in, I would encourage you to consider sending them to CauseCon. This amazing event will help them discern what God may be calling them into, and sending them would be an investment in their future.
Empowering our young adults across the Vineyard is something that we’re going to be talking about for a long time. I would love for your church to be a part of the energy and excitement of CauseCon as God stirs the hearts of the young folks in our movement.
Please join me in prayer for CauseCon, and I look forward to the possibility of seeing some of your young leaders there.
With you as we give our lives to see this generation change the world,
