Here’s another newly-released Vineyard church planting team, in this case, a couple passionate about their home community in Worthington, Ohio. Inspired by the idea of making space for God’s Kingdom to infiltrate our everyday lives, they are gathering people together around that vision. Read on to find out how you can pray for the Graffs and Sacred Space Church.

Nate and Erica

Name: Nate and Erica Graff

Church: Sacred Space Church, Worthington, OH

Church Website: www.sacredspacechurch.org

 About Nate and Erica:

Nate and Erica have been married for 12 years, and have spent those years living in the community of Worthington, OH.  Currently, Nate works as a Software Developer for Columbus City Schools, and Erica works as a Speech-Language Pathologist for Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities.  They have two children who attend Colonial Hills Elementary School (our neighborhood school), and are overall very ordinary people.  Church planting has been in our hearts for approximately 10 years, but God’s vision for a neighborhood church in our community became clear to us approximately two years ago while attending Central Vineyard (our sending church). We hope to continue working our traditional jobs, while we share leadership and ministry opportunities with our leadership team.  This will allow us to give generously to our community and world.

About Sacred Space Church:

SSC_logo_centered_black_copy_pmxvtuGod loves our community, and has brought several families together with us to dream of a new faith community in this place.  While much of the Worthington area is middle-class or a
ffluent, our schools and surrounding neighborhoods provide more culturally and economically diverse neighbors.  We long to experience God’s love, forgiveness, compassion and mercy in our neighborhoods, schools, community and world. We are currently in the process of developing our leaders, and also meet publicly on a Sunday morning once a month.  We have also been partnering with other organizations to serve others (Gethsemane Lutheran/ Clintonville
Resource Center Food Pantry, the City of Worthington, Family Mentor Foundation, and Ananie Munana in Burundi).

How to Pray for the Graffs and Sacred Space Church:

We appreciate prayers for the family relationships within our Leadership Team.  We are still seeking worship leaders and diversity on our team, and would love prayer for the Kingdom of God to break into our community more fully.  Finally, we are seeking mentors, coaches and wise/ mature leaders to join us.  Thank you for your prayers!
