Back in January of 2017, Phil Strout and I sat down for a thirty-minute conversation about church planting in the Vineyard. We talked about where we’re at in the Vineyard with our planting efforts and about how we’re currently working to continue to move forward. We talked about some of the resources and approaches Multiply Vineyard is using, the resources we are making available, and about how this is a part of the larger Vineyard movement. We talked about various methodologies we’ve utilized in the past to plant new churches and some of the things we’ll need to do in the future.
There are so many different ways to go about working to establish new discipleship communities, new communities of spiritual formation and transformation—new churches—in each of our local contexts. And I believe that it’s the very nature of the kingdom of God that our churches reproduce in healthy ways. We simply want to continue to encourage that healthy multiplication and resources our churches as best we can to prosper in their unique calling and assignment.
Are we courageous enough to embrace whatever God is doing in our midst today? This is the question Phil and I are discussing on this video.
