What is the Cause Conference?

The next Cause Conference is coming up in March at the Cape Vineyard in Florida, and we are really looking forward to it! We are inviting people from all over the country to come and take part in exploring how God is calling them to take part in his kingdom. To have their lives rearranged by the kingdom.
We want to take this moment to invite you to think about taking part. There are a few ways to do this. For one thing, we’re sending a packet to every Vineyard church about the Cause so that pastors can help encourage the people in their churches to make the trip. Senior pastors, start marking your calendars and talking to your folks about March 19-21 in Florida.
Road Trip—The Journey is as Important as the Destination
Another way to take part is by getting in your car and travelling to Florida! Seriously. As we’ve been thinking and dreaming about this particular Cause Conference, we’ve been imagining some really amazing road trips to get there. It does take place in Florida during spring break, after all!
But more than that, we’ve been thinking about the potential of the journey itself. That a lot of saying yes to God’s kingdom is being willing to go wherever God takes you. Each step of that journey is as much a part of your life with God as the final destination. Even though we believe God is going to move in huge and powerful and unexpected ways at the Cause Conference, we also are expecting him to be moving in people’s lives on the journey there and back.
We don’t want anyone to miss out on this opportunity! If you are able to get three people into your vehicle to road trip to the Cause Conference and if you document your journey on social media (facebook, twitter, instagram, etc.), then we will pay for your gas. Really, a road trip with friends and free fuel? What could be better?
